The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing that BetzDearborn, Inc., has filed a petition proposing that the food additive regulations be amended to provide for the safe use of a copolymer of the sodium salt of acrylic acid with polyethyleneglycol allyl ether for use as a boiler water additive.
