The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is issuing a final rule amending the monograph for over-the-counter (OTC) astringent drug products. This amendment updates the monograph to incorporate a United States Pharmacopeia (U.S.P.) name change for an active ingredient included in the monograph. This final rule is part of the ongoing review of OTC drug products conducted by FDA.
