On September 15, 1993, the Commission issued a notice of inquiry on a series of related questions that involve the decommissioning of licensed hydropower projects after the original license for the project has expired (58 FR 48991, September 21, 1993). The date for filing reply comments is being extended at the request of an interested commenter.
