The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing that Ecological Chemical Products Co., has filed a petition proposing that the food additive regulations be amended to provide for the safe use of 2-hydroxy-propanoic acid homopolymer and (2-hydroxy-propanoic acid/ caprolactone) block copolymer as components of adhesives.
