Defense Trade Advisory Group; Open Meeting

Özet

Pursuant to section 10(a)(1) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Defense Trade Advisory Group (DTAG). The DTAG, established in February 1992 pursuant to the FACA (Public Law 92-463; 5 U.S.C. app. I), is an advisory committee consisting of private sector defense trade specialists. They advise the Department on policies, regulations, and technical issues affecting defense trade. The meeting will include speakers from the Bureau of Political- Military Affairs; reports on DTAG Working Group progress, accomplishments, and future projects; and unclassified briefings on topics of interest to defense exporters.

Notice is hereby given of the following determinations: I hereby determine that certain objects being imported from abroad pursuant to agreements with their foreign owners or custodians for temporary display in the exhibition "A Light in the Dark: Joseph Wright of Derby" at the J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Center, Los Angeles, California, and at possible additional exhibitions or venues yet to be determined, are of cultural significance, and, further, that their temporary exhibition or display within the United States as aforementioned is in the national interest.
