The subject lease N-56125, was originally issued to St. Judes Ranch for Children, for the development and operation of a Good Shepard Campus. An assignment and change in use of the lease to the City of Las Vegas for a public park and ballfield complex is now being proposed. The following public lands in Clark County, Nevada, have been examined and found suitable for lease/conveyance for recreational or public purposes under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes Act, as amended (43 U.S.C. 869 et seq.). The lands are needed for development of a public park and ballfield complex.
