Meeting of the Local Government Advisory Committee

The Local Government Advisory Committee will meet on January 21-22, 1999, in New York, NY. The Committee will host a panel discussion with several additional local government associations as a continuation of work begun at the previous meeting to build networks. Committee members will receive an update on the activities of the Small Community Advisory Subcommittee and the Policy Subcommittee since the Committee's September meeting. Staff from EPA's Brownfields Office will conduct a focus group on Resource Conservation and Recovery Act impediments to Brownfields redevelopment. The Subcommittees will meet on the 22nd. The Committee will hear comments from the public between 11:15- 11:30 am on January 21. Each individual or organization wishing to address the Committee will be allowed a minimum of three minutes.
