On September 25, 1997, the Department of Commerce published in the Federal Register a notice announcing the initiation of an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on granular polytetrafluoroethylene from Japan, covering one manufacturer/exporter of the subject merchandise, Mitsui-DuPont Polychemical, for the period August 1, 1996 through July 31, 1997. On September 17, 1997, we received a request for withdrawal from this review from Mitsui. Because Mitsui submitted a timely request for withdrawal and because no other interested party requested a review, we are rescinding this review.
