Resumo
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has received a license amendment application from Northern States Power Company (NSPM) for an amendment to Materials License No. SNM-2506 for the Prairie Island Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (PI ISFSI) located in Welch, Minnesota. The amendment would increase the maximum amount of spent fuel that may be possessed and stored at the PI ISFSI, and approve the construction of an additional concrete pad within the confines of the existing facility.
