In accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, the Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices (DO) gives notice of a proposed exemption for a new system of records entitled "Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices .227-- Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) Case Management System," maintained by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States from certain provisions of the Privacy Act.
