The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering an application for the renewal of operating license NPF-38, which authorizes Entergy Operations, Inc. (the applicant), to operate Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 (Waterford 3). The renewed license would authorize the applicant to operate Waterford 3 for an additional 20 years beyond the period specified in the current license.
