Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Handicap in Air Travel

In a document published in the Federal Register, the Department announced its intention to convene a public meeting on November 30, 1999, to discuss the possibility of commencing a rulemaking to require certain additional accommodations for deaf and hard-of-hearing air travelers under the Air Carrier Access Act of 1986. This notice announces the postponement of that meeting until January 18, 2000.
