Nevada Temporary Closure of Certain Public Lands Managed by the Bureau of Land management, Las Vegas Field Office

The Field Office Manager of the Las Vegas Field Office announces the temporary closure of selected public lands under its administration. This action is being taken to help ensure public safety, prevent unnecessary environmental degradation during the official permitted running of the 1998 BEST in the DESERT TERRIBLE'S TOWN ``250'' and to comply with provisions of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Biological Opinion for Speed Based Off-Highway Vehicle Events (1-5-95- F-237).
