The following described public land in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, was previously examined and found suitable for lease/ conveyance for recreational or public purposes under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes Act, as amended (43 U.S.C. 869 et seq.) in Notice of Realty Action published March 20, 1985, for Serial No. N-37127. The City of Las Vegas had proposed to use the land as a park site, but withdrew this application on April 1, 1996. West Oakey Baptist Church filed an amended Recreation and Public Purposes lease application, N-58742, identifying this same public land for use as a church facility.
