On December 21, 1993 (58 FR 67334), EPA took final action to redesignate areas as nonattainment for the PM-10 (particles with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to a nominal 10 micrometers) and sulfur dioxide (SO 2) national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS).
