Resumo
In settlement of alleged violations of Federal law prohibiting unfair acts and practices and unfair methods of competition, this consent agreement, accepted subject to final Commission approval, would prohibit, among other things, any hospital combination in the Charlotte County, Florida, area involving Columbia that would threaten competition. The proposed consent agreement would require the respondent to seek prior Commission approval, for ten years, before consummating any partial or total merger of a hospital in the designated area with any other hospital in that area.
