The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) is proposing to delete its regulatory definitions of ``consumer credit classified as a loss,'' ``slow consumer credit,'' and ``slow loans.'' These definitions are not necessary for the interpretation of any OTS regulation and may conflict with proposed guidance recently issued by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC).
