Revision of Form MMS-2005, Oil and Gas Lease of Submerged Lands Under the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act

This notice announces a public workshop that the MMS will conduct to acquire information pertinent to revision of Form-2005, Oil and Gas Lease of Submerged Lands Under the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act. The purpose of the workshop is to discuss the plain language revisions to the form. This workshop is being held in conjunction with the MMS sponsored Information Transfer Meeting. We are also giving notice that we are extending the comment period on the Notice of Revision of Form-2005, which was published in the Federal Register on November 9. 1998 (63 FR 60380). The comment period is extended to January 8, 1999.
