This applicant notice is for private U.S. organizations requesting grant assistance for overseas institutions under section 214 of the Foreign Assistance Act. ``Applicant'' refers to the United States founder or sponsor of the overseas institution. The Office of American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA) will accept applications for assistance in fiscal year 1999 and beyond, if received by ASHA on or before June 30, for the next fiscal year.
