Streszczenie

The Commission adopts a Third Report and Order and Fifth Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding the use of the 220-222 MHz Band (220 MHz service) by the Private Land Mobile Radio Service. The Third Report and Order portion of this decision is summarized elsewhere in this edition of the Federal Register. The Fifth Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (Fifth NPRM) seeks comment on various issues related to the partitioning of 220 MHz licenses and whether to permit full partitioning and disaggregation in the 220 MHz service. This action is taken to establish a record from which to consider the specific rules that should govern partitioning and the benefits and drawbacks of full partitioning and disaggregation, and to reach an ultimate decision.
