This applicant notice is for private U.S. organizations requesting grant assistance for overseas institutions under Section 214 of the Foreign Assistance Act. ``Applicant'' refers to the United States founder or sponsor of the overseas institution. Due to budget cuts, The Office of American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (ASHA) will not accept applications for assistance on August 31, 1996 for consideration in FY 1997 and for future years.
