This notification announces receipt of and publishes a petition for waiver and interim waiver from United CoolAir Corporation ("UCA"), which seeks a waiver for specified basic models of double- duct air conditioners and heat pumps from the U.S. Department of Energy ("DOE") test procedure used for determining the efficiency of double- duct air conditioners and heat pumps. This notification also announces that DOE is declining to grant the request for an interim waiver for the reasons described in this notification.
