Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement; Patent Rights-Ownership by the Contractor

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to add a clause pertaining to patent rights under contracts awarded to large business concerns for experimental, developmental, or research work. The clause is substantially the same as a clause that is presently found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), but has been proposed for removal from the FAR because it applies only to DoD.
