This event, sponsored by South Street Seaport, Inc., will take place from 11:30 p.m. on December 31, 1994, to 12:45 a.m. on January 1, 1995, unless extended or terminated sooner by the Captain of the Port, New York. This regulation will temporarily close all waters of the East River south of the Brooklyn Bridge and north of a line drawn from Pier 9, Manhattan, to Pier 3, Brooklyn. This safety zone will preclude all vessels from transiting this portion of the East River.
