This final rule increases the minimum grade requirements for Florida-grown and imported fresh red and white seedless grapefruit to U.S. No. 1, from the current minimum grade requirement of Improved No. 2 External--U.S. No. 1 Internal. This rule improves the quality of fresh domestic, export, and import shipments of seedless grapefruit and is in the interest of producers, handlers, and consumers of such fruit.
