Notice of Adoption of a Bureau of Indian Affairs Categorical Exclusion Under the National Environmental Policy Act

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has adopted a Bureau of Indian Affairs' (BIA) categorical exclusion (CE) for waste management activities involving remediation of hazardous waste sites under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for use by the EPA's Contaminated Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) Lands Assistance Program.
