In settlement of alleged violations of federal law prohibiting unfair acts and practices and unfair methods of competition, this consent agreement, accepted subject to final Commission approval, would prohibit, among other things, the California-based corporations and an officer, who purported to market pillows and Christmas ornaments, from making any material misrepresentations regarding earnings or profits of participants in any work opportunity and from making misrepresentations about the marketplace demand for any product or service.
