The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing a confirmatory order to Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA or Licensee), the holder of License Nos. DPR-33, DPR-52, DPR-68, authorizing the operation of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3. The facility is located on the Licensee's site in Athens, Alabama. The order was a result of Alternative Dispute Resolution between the NRC and TVA, and required TVA to complete a number of corrective actions to address the submittal of information to the NRC that was not complete and accurate in all material respects, and to address TVA's change to a license condition without submitting an amendment request.
