Notice Required by the Y2K Act to Establish a Small Business Liaison

Pursuant to section 18(b) of the Y2K Act, Public Law 106-37, 113 Stat. 185 (1999), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is hereby designating Edward Silberhorn, Consumer Affairs Specialist, Division of Compliance and Consumer Affairs, as the point of contact to act as a liaison between the agency and insured state nonmember banks, as well as foreign banks having an insured branch, which qualify as small business concerns under the Act, with respect to problems arising out of Y2K failures and compliance with Federal rules or regulations.
