The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is amending the animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by MoorMan's, Inc. The supplemental NADA provides for use of approved monensin Type A medicated articles to make free-choice, medicated feed blocks used for prevention and control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in pasture cattle.
