The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in cooperation with the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Airports Division is issuing this notice to advise the public that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) will be prepared for proposed improvements at Lihue Airport. To ensure that all significant issues related to the proposed actions are identified, one (1) public scoping meeting will be held on Kauai, and two (2) combined governmental agency and public scoping meetings will be held (one on Kauai, one on Oahu).
