Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled; Eligibility for Children of Armed Forces Personnel Residing Outside the United States Other Than in Foreign Countries

ローカル自動翻訳 · 情報源の原言語

概要

This final rule reflects the provisions of section 13734 of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, Public Law (Pub. L.) 103-66, which amended section 1614(a)(1)(B)(ii) of the Social Security Act (the Act). Effective November 1, 1993, these provisions remove the restriction that children of armed forces personnel stationed in Puerto Rico or the territories or possessions of the United States may not continue to be eligible for supplemental security income (SSI) benefits while living outside the United States.
