The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for certain navigable waters of Lake Erie approximately one-half to one mile offshore between Vermilion, Ohio and the Main Entrance Channel in Cleveland, Ohio. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters for the underway civilian vessels "Welcome Flotilla" (Regatta) accompanying the transit of the USS CLEVELAND (LCS 31) from Vermilion, Ohio to Cleveland, Ohio on May 9, 2026.
