The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the Commission) is considering the issuance of a license to International Isotopes Fluorine Products, Inc., (IIFP or the applicant) to authorize construction and operations of a depleted uranium deconversion facility and possession and use of source material. This proposed facility is known as the Fluorine Extraction Process and Depleted Uranium Deconversion Plant (FEP/DUP) and will be located in Lea County, New Mexico. The NRC has prepared a Safety Evaluation Report (SER) in support of this license application review (NUREG-2116).

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission) is considering issuance of an amendment to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-76, issued to STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC); Constellation South Texas, LLC; City Public Service Board of San Antonio; and City of Austin, Texas, for operation of South Texas Project, Unit 1 (STP). The proposed license amendment would, if granted, make a one-time exigent change to the technical specifications (TS) to extend the allowed outage time (AOT) for TS 3.7.1.7, "Main Feedwater System". This proposed amendment is being requested to facilitate repairs to the Unit 1 train D main feedwater isolation valve (MFIV). This proposed amendment is being requested under exigent circumstances pursuant to NRC regulations.

Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License Involving Proposed No Significant Hazards Consideration Determination and Containing Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information and Order Imposing Procedures for Access to Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information

The application seeks NRC approval of the indirect transfer of the facility operating licenses, materials licenses, and general licenses for Surry Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (Surry); North Anna Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (North Anna); Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (V.C. Summer); and Millstone Power Station, Units 1, 2, & 3 (Millstone); as well as the combined license for North Anna Unit 3; and the North Anna Early Site Permit. SMR, LLC; Palisades SMR, LLC; Pioneer Units 1 and 2; Exemption

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued an exemption in response to a request dated December 31, 2025, from SMR, LLC, on behalf of Palisades SMR, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Holtec International (collectively, Holtec) for approval to allow construction of permanent support of excavation walls prior to the issuance of a limited work authorization for Pioneer Units 1 and 2. The support of excavation walls will remain in place after construction is complete.
