The Health Resources and Services Administration announces that up to $480,000 is available in fiscal year 1994 for grants to public and private nonprofit entities for the purpose of carrying out research and demonstration projects with respect to improving the availability and quality of emergency medical services and trauma care in rural areas. These grants are authorized by section 1204 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended. Funds are appropriated under Public Law 103-112.
