In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, the Department of Homeland Security proposes to update and reissue an existing system of records titled, "Department of Homeland Security United States Coast Guard-029 Notice of Arrival and Departure System of Records." This system of records allows the Department of Homeland Security/United States Coast Guard to facilitate the effective and efficient entry and departure of vessels into and from the United States and assist with assigning priorities for conducting maritime safety and security missions in accordance with international and United States regulations. As a result of the biennial review of this system, records have been updated to include cargo within the purpose and record source categories. This updated system will be included in the Department of Homeland Security's inventory of record systems. The Privacy Act exemptions for this system remain unchanged.
