Résumé
This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of C 9 rich aromatic hydrocarbons, C 10-11 rich aromatic hydrocarbons, and C 11-12 rich aromatic hydrocarbons when used as inert ingredients (solvents) in pesticide formulations applied to animals. ExxonMobil Chemical Company submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting establishment of an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of C 9 rich aromatic hydrocarbons, C 10-11 rich aromatic hydrocarbons, and C 11-12 rich aromatic hydrocarbons.
