The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has recently submitted to OMB for review the following proposal for the collection of information under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35). The NRC hereby informs potential respondents that an agency may not conduct or sponsor, and that a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. The NRC published a Federal Register notice with a 60-day comment period on this information collection on July 2, 2014. 1. Type of submission, new, revision, or extension: Extension. 2. The title of the information collection: 10 CFR part 36, "Licenses and Radiation Safety Requirements for Irradiators." 3. Current OMB approval number: 3150-0158. 4. How often the collection is required: Annually. 5. Who will be required or asked to report: Irradiator licensees licensed by NRC or an Agreement State. 6. An estimate of the number of annual responses: 1,911.28 (7.28 for reporting [1.04 NRC licensee and 6.24 Agreement State licensees], 56 for recordkeepers [8 NRC licensees and 48 Agreement State Licensees], and 1,848 for third-party disclosures [

List of Approved Spent Fuel Storage Casks: TN Americas, LLC Standardized NUHOMS® Horizontal Modular Storage System for Irradiated Nuclear Fuel, Certificate of Compliance No. 1004, Renewed Amendment No. 19

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is amending its spent fuel storage regulations by revising the TN Americas, LLC Standardized NUHOMS[supreg] Horizontal Modular Storage System for Irradiated Nuclear Fuel listing within the "List of approved spent fuel storage casks" to include Amendment No. 19 to Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1004. Amendment No. 19 revises the certificate of compliance to provide for a 61BTH improved basket design using staggered plates similar the 24PTH Type 3 basket approved in CoC 1004 Amendment 18 and similar to the EOS 37PTH and 89BTH baskets approved in CoC 1042. This will simplify construction, reduce weight and improve fabricability. Additional changes are proposed to address editorial corrections, consistency, and terminology clarifications. The NRC is referring to this amendment as "Renewed Amendment No. 19" because it was submitted after the renewal of the TN Americas, LLC Standardized NUHOMS Horizontal Modular Storage System for Irradiated Nuclear Fuel Certificate of Compliance No. 1004 and, therefore, subject to the Aging Management Program requirements of the renewed certificate.

Draft Interim Staff Guidance: Evaluations of Risk Assessments for Risk-Informed Decision-Making for Regulatory Applications

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is soliciting public comment on its draft Interim Staff Guidance (ISG), OAR/DARP-ISG- 2026-XX, "Evaluations of Risk Assessments for Risk-Informed Decision- Making for Regulatory Applications." If finalized, this ISG will provide guidance to the staff for reviewing systematic risk assessment methods, including probabilistic risk assessments (PRAs) and other systematic risk evaluations (SREs). This ISG will supplement existing guidance to facilitate the staff's understanding of the uses of risk information in regulatory applications and application of principles of risk-informed decision-making.

Virginia Electric and Power Company, (Doing Business as Dominion Energy Virginia); North Anna Site; Early Site Permit Renewal Application

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or Commission) is considering an application for the renewal of Early Site Permit (ESP) No. ESP-003, which allows Virginia Electric and Power Company (doing business as Dominion Energy Virginia) to reference ESP-003 in an application for a construction permit (CP) or combined license (COL) at the North Anna ESP site during the period ESP-003 remains valid. The renewed permit, if approved, would extend the expiration date by an additional 20 years beyond the period specified in the current permit. The location for the North Anna ESP site is in Louisa County, Virginia, and the current ESP-003 expires on November 27, 2027. This notice provides the public an opportunity to request a hearing and petition for leave to intervene with respect to the renewal application.

In Situ Recovery Monitoring and Decommissioning Timeliness

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) proposes to amend its regulations that govern the licensing of uranium mills and the disposition of tailings and waste that arise from the extraction and milling of uranium by issuing risk-informed requirements for groundwater protection at uranium in situ recovery (ISR) facilities. The NRC's current regulations are focused on conventional uranium milling and do not expressly address uranium extraction by the ISR process. Additionally, NRC proposes to amend its regulations that govern decommissioning timeliness for all licensees to provide additional flexibility for licensees to delay the initiation of decommissioning activities in situations where safety would not be impacted.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) received and is considering approval of an application filed by NextEra Energy, Inc. (NextEra Energy), Dominion Energy, Inc. (Dominion Energy), Virginia Electric and Power Company (VEPCO), Dominion Energy Nuclear Connecticut (DENC), and Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc. (DESC) (collectively the Applicants) on July 15, 2026. The application seeks NRC approval of the indirect transfer of the facility operating licenses, materials licenses, and general licenses for Surry Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (Surry); North Anna Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (North Anna); Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (V.C. Summer); and Millstone Power Station, Units 1, 2, & 3 (Millstone); as well as the combined license for North Anna Unit 3; and the North Anna Early Site Permit. The application contains sensitive unclassified non-safeguards information (SUNSI).

SMR, LLC; Palisades SMR, LLC; Pioneer Units 1 and 2; Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing an environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for an exemption requested by SMR, LLC on behalf of Palisades SMR, LLC (Palisades SMR), associated with certain excavation support activities for the proposed dual-unit SMR-300 plant, Pioneer Units 1 and 2, at the Palisades Energy Center in Covert, Michigan. Specifically, Palisades SMR is requesting an exemption, pursuant to NRC regulations, to allow for construction of support of excavation (SOE) walls during SMR-300 excavation and prior to issuance of a Limited Work Authorization (LWA), if approved. Based on the analyses presented in the EA, the NRC staff determined that there would be no significant environmental impacts associated with granting the requested exemption.
