In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, the Department of Homeland Security proposes to consolidate, update, and reissue the current Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency system of records titled, "Department of Homeland Security/ Federal Emergency Management Agency--003 National Flood Insurance Program Files System of Records" with the systems of records titled, "Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency/ Mitigation/Mitigation--1 National Flood Insurance Program Claims Appeals Process," and "Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency--007 National Flood Insurance Program Marketing Files." This consolidated and updated system of records enables the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency to administer all aspects of the National Flood Insurance Program. The Department has consolidated and updated these systems of records to more accurately reflect how the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency collects, maintains, and shares information pertaining to the National Flood Insurance Program.
