Résumé
This order withdraws approximately 2,252 acres of public lands from surface entry and mining, for a period of 20 years, for the United States Air Force to provide safety buffers from potentially hazardous areas, protect populated areas, and to comply with Department of Defense Directive No. 6055.9 regarding ammunition and explosive safety standards. The lands are adjacent to the Live Ordnance Loading Areas at the Nellis Air Force Base, Clark County, Nevada. The lands have been and will remain open to mineral leasing.
