The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, proposes to withdraw approximately 75 acres of National Forest System land for 50 years to protect the Mt. Emmons Bog natural resource and scientific research area. This notice closes this land to location and entry under the mining laws for up to two years. The land remains open to mineral leasing.
