Broom Corm Brooms: SUP1/SUP Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Import Relief -

On December 3, 1998, the President announced the termination of import relief, granted under section 203 of the Act, for the domestic broom corn broom industry. Following this action, the Commission, as required by section 204(d) of the Act, instituted investigation No. TA-204-1 to evaluate the effectiveness of the import relief action in facilitating positive adjustment by the domestic industry to import competition, consistent with the reasons set out by the President in the report submitted to the Congress under section 203(b) of the Act.
