Résumé
The Departments of Labor and Education jointly invite applications for new awards in FY 1997, as authorized under section 212 of the School-to-Work Opportunities Act of 1994 (the Act). These State Implementation Grants will enable States and Territories to carry out their plans for statewide and jurisdiction-wide School-to-Work Opportunities partnership systems, offering young Americans access to programs designed to prepare them for a first job in high-skill, high- wage careers, and for achievement in further postsecondary education and training.
