Notice of Proposed Exchange of Additional Lands in Cochise, Pima, La Paz and Graham Counties, Arizona

Notice is hereby given that the Bureau of Land Management is considering a proposal to exchange additional federal land pursuant to Section 206 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (43 U.S.C. 1716), as amended. The exchange has been proposed by the Phelps Dodge Corporation and is referred to as the Safford Exchange Project. In accordance with Section 7 of the Taylor Grazing Act, 43 U.S.C. 315f, and Executive Order No. 6910, the following described lands are hereby classified for disposal by exchange.
