The Coast Guard is establishing special local regulations for the Holiday Boat Parade of the Palm Beaches. This event will be held annually during the second Saturday of December, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. EST (Eastern Standard Time). Historically, there have been approximately 60 parade event participant vessels and 200 spectator craft during the boat parade. The resulting congestion of navigable channels creates an extra or unusual hazard on the navigable waters. These regulations are necessary to provide for the safety of life on navigable waters during the event.
