The NCUA is proposing to update, clarify and streamline its existing rules concerning member business loans and appraisals for federally insured credit unions. The intended effect of the proposal is to reduce regulatory burden, maintain safety and soundness, and expand the number and type of business loans a federal credit union may grant their members.
