Résumé
On July 8, 1994, (59 FR 35044) the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) approved a revision to the Indiana State Implementation Plan (SIP) for ozone. The action approved a request by Indiana to redesignate the following ozone nonattainment areas: St. Joseph and Elkhart, Vanderburgh, and Marion Counties to attainment of the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for ozone. The USEPA also approved the State's maintenance plan for these counties. The USEPA is withdrawing this final rule due to the adverse comments received on these actions. In a subsequent final rule USEPA will summarize and respond to the comments received and announce final rulemaking action on this requested Indiana SIP revision and redesignation.
