Résumé
In settlement of alleged violations of federal law prohibiting unfair acts and practices and unfair methods of competition, this consent order requires, among other things, one hundred and forty four Detroit-area automobile dealerships, owners and managers, and dealer associations (including respondents associated with the sale of GM, Ford, Lincoln-Mercury and Volkswagen vehicles, and respondents associated with the sale of Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge vehicles) to stay open a specified minimum number of hours a week. In addition, the order prohibits the respondents from entering into, continuing or carrying out any agreement to establish, fix or maintain any hours of operation.
