Résumé
In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, the Department of Homeland Security proposes to establish a new Department of Homeland Security system of records titled, "Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, DHS/CBP--017 Analytical Framework for Intelligence (AFI) System of Records." This system of records will allow the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Customs and Border Protection to improve border and national security by providing AFI users with a single platform for research, analysis, and visualization of large amounts of data from disparate sources and maintaining the final analysis or products in a single, searchable location for later use as well as appropriate dissemination. Additionally, the Department of Homeland Security is issuing a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking concurrent with this system of records elsewhere in the Federal Register. This newly established system will be included in the Department of Homeland Security's inventory of record systems.
