Individual Monitoring Devices for Industrial Radiographic Personnel

Resumen

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will consider in its rulemaking process one issue raised in a petition for rulemaking (PRM), PRM-34-7, submitted by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) and the Nondestructive Testing Management Association (NDTMA), and is denying one aspect of PRM-34-7. The petitioners request that the NRC amend its regulations to authorize the use of "improved" individual monitoring devices for industrial radiographic personnel.
